Welcome to the first edition of KIDS IN THE KITCHEN! Glad to have you. There is a brief description of the blog carnival here.

I am going to start off with something so simple ... Fruit Pops, but folks heres why look at what I am working with!
Yes my friends thats fruit and alot of it, left over from Lu's Birthday party I didn't want it to go to waste, so whats a girl to do, well have Lu make some yummy refreshing fruit pops, afterall its summer and we are in florida so its HOT!
Step 1: Pour your fruit in a cup (Lu has a plastic one for easy holding) and then have your child pour the fruit in the blender.

Step 2: Add honey, as much as you'd like we did about 2 tbsps., We also added sugar about 2 tbsps as well.
Step 4: Blend (Lu says you must hold the top, just incase you don't want to clean up mess if the top flies off and splatters around the room)

Step 5: I poured the juice mixture into a measuring cup for Lu because it has a little spout at the end and is easily manageable for her to pour, she then poured the mixture into the pop holders.

Step 6: FREEZE them ... I sent Lu to summer camp, and when she came home they were ready to eat!

Step 7: EAT
Lu's comment was: WOW mom I really am a chef, mmm this is good!
