Today was a bit of an off day for us, as I have been sick all day. My muffin tin may look a little weird, but we had fun anyways!
Theme for MTM today was Back to School/Learning! What better way to celebrate going back to school than a smoothie party?
Top row: Ice, OJ
Bottom row: Milk, banana, oranges
Now at first this was just a "smoothie party" no learning involved. I always invite Lu to help me in the kitchen ... and it became learning when she started counting each piece of ice, the how many bananas she tore apart, then she would add the two together! Such a bright Girl!!! I do love her so!
She had a great time, infact I wish I could have gotton her "happy dance" picture that she was doing when she finished :)! Happy Monday!
what a great idea! lu totally looks like she had a great time!
ReplyDeleteCool! I always though mixing OJ with milk would make it curdle but your smoothie looks delicious. :)
ReplyDeleteI think there's a lot of learning in smoothie making (using those fine motor skills to clean up the blender when it's clean up time..oh, right, that's fine motor skills practice for MOMMY!)..
ReplyDeleteWe are going to have to have a tropical party in my home soon and do this muffin tin!
I hadn't thought of an ingredient tin. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteOH, I just this week plan to start making smoothies, seriously!! LOVE this!!
ReplyDeleteI love that she is drinking out of that big glass, I bet it makes her feel very special!
ReplyDeleteYummy, I want a smoothie now.
